P3 FOR PIERRE-LOUIS CHOVET AFTER A SUCCESFULL QUALY.

A season best qualification for race two at the Barcelona circuit, meant a P2 for Pierre-Louis and a P5 for Owen Tangavelou. Unfortunately contact at the start ended Owen his race early. Pierre-Louis lost a place at the first corner, but was able to hold onto that 3rd place until the Safety Car came out with 27 minutes to go. With the track cleared and 22 minutes + 1 lap to go, Pierre-Louis had to hold off Paul Aron to secure his second podium of the season.

A hard fought battle ensued between Pierre-Louis and Paul Aron, untill a very late Safety Car meant the race was brought to a halt yet again. With the safety car being deployed 3 minutes before the end of the race, it meant there was not enough time to clear the track and restart the race. After a first podium at the RedBull Ring, Pierre-Louis now also secured the teams second podium at the Barcelona circuit, in only his second weekend with RPM.
